  • Health: Must be physically fit and in good health, without any previous record of any medical problems, drugs and alcoholism. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (30 Kilos) on a daily basis and able to work a minimum of eleven hours per day, seven days a week.
  • Professional Experience and Education: Standard High School Education. Requires a minimum of eight years in the profession (Quality Hotels or equivalently rated Restaurants). Must have extensive European culinary training and able to be a leader and motivate their team.
  • Communication and Language Skills: Must be able to read and speak English clearly in order to interpret and orate documents such as recipes and manuals. Other languages are considered a plus.
  • Work Ethic: Must be a serious professional and take pride in their work.

  • Management experience working with a multinational Staff/Crew

  • Excellent English oral and written, additional European language recommended
  • Computer skills necessary (Word, Excel, Fidelio, Espresso)
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary procedures
  • Keen eye for cleanliness and attention to details

  • 1-2 years of previous work experience in a custodial/house person capacity
  • Previous ship experiences preferred

  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their application
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning technique requirements and use of equipment

Hotel Utility / Custodial

  • Previous cleaning experience of some level.
  • Previous experience working in a 5 stars ship or hotels of 200 + rooms
  • Knowledge of chemical cleaning and their application
  • Floor cleaning equipment experience preferred, with knowledge in floor care a plus
  • Able to read, write and speak English
  • Able to interact with guest and give direction\assistance
  • Must be flexible; shifts cover both day and night
